Famous religious scholar, Maulana Tariq Jameel, was just admitted to a hospital after experiencing tightness in his chest.
According to news reports, Tariq is under hospital supervision in Lahore, Johar Town and will undergo an angioplasty to proceed with his condition.
According to his son, he hopes to have his father discharged by tonight or tomorrow, pending tests that the doctors need to do. He also says that he’s thankful that his father was rushed to the hospital in time, as that is what saved him.
Maulana Tariq is held in high regard by Pakistanis all over the world and this news has shocked and saddened many people all over. His lectures and audio lectures have been extremely popular on the Internet as well as social media.
