Mahira Khan, as we all know, is one of the biggest superstars of our industry. She’s made waves both within Pakistan and out of the country, with her talent. She’s so magical one can expect her to make your dreams come true. This is exactly what she did with one fan.
Eager beaver, Hira Hyder, tweeted to Mahira with a very simple wish
Hira Hyder is a young and aspiring journalist who’s gotten to where many wish to get. She’s interviewed, literally, some of our most favorite celebrities including, Aisha Khan, Faysal Qureshi, Kubra Khan, Armeena Khan, Ahad Raza Mir, Zahid Ahmed, Mehreen Jabbar, Ahsan Khan, Nadia Jamil, Osman Khalid Butt (yes we know, we know we’re jealous, too).
And Mahira responded almost instantly, and thus began one of the most insightful interviews that we’ve read in a while
The questions weren’t the kind of questions you normally get in interviews
Hira asked Mahira about social factors that direct how people perceive themselves
Mahira is definitely someone who has had enough experience with people talking about her. She said that people, especially artists, had a huge part in changing the ideologies of those who listened to them. And that people should use their power and fame for the right reasons.
Another point that Hira raised was that there are women in our country who are not allowed to work or are constantly put down for what they do and are reduced to bare minimum
Mahira had a befitting reply to this
She said that people will talk no matter what. They will always have something or the other to say about everything that you do. And for women to never let anyone put them down, whatsoever, and not care for the age-old log kya kahein ge…
One question that we’d always wanted to know the answer to is this one
While in our heads, we have always seen Mahira as Zara reincarnate, we got to hear it straight from Mahira, herself
Hira brought up Mahira’s upcoming film “7 Din Muhabbat In” and asked how she plans on making a space for this character of hers in our hearts
Mahira goes on to describing her character in her film
Hira asked Mahira for a piece of advice for all those people out there who dream big but are too afraid of chasing their dreams
And Mahira won our hearts all over again with her reply!
And of course, Hira asked her for a shout out for her little sister who is obsessed with her
And Mahira complied, of course!

While talking to MangoBaaz Hira said that apart from her sister being such a big Mahira fan, she was an admirer herself and just seeing Mahira’s reply made her go made. We can’t wait for the next celebrity that Hira interviews. Because she realizes how deeply the words of celebrities can impact of the masses. She wants to bring forth the ideologies of celebrities, their opinions, and to give the audience an insight of their lives.
