Long Shirts And Peshwas Are Here This Shaadi Season, And It's Everything You Need

By Arslan Athar | 19 Nov, 2018

Shaadi trends can be hard to keep up with. They’re always changing with the seasons, and if you’re the type of person who needs to be following what’s hot, life becomes a little hard. Long shirts had their moment, like a PROPER moment, a few years ago, after which the short shirt came back with a vengeance. It now seems like the tides of fashion have turned again, with long shirts, peshwas, and angrakha style kurtas coming to the fore this winter/shaadi season.

They’re the perfect way to add a little regal realness to your look

You can dress it up or dress it down- really it’s up to you

Since the focus of this piece is about shaadi wear, so we’ll keep the simple stuff out of it. But you get the idea, the trend is verstaile.

This trend lends a lot to color variations, different types of kaam and fabrics too.

Long shirts have also been used over lehnga cholis to add a fun flair to the look or to even ‘formal’ it up a bit

You can also incorporate the trend of heavy dupattas with peshwas and anghrakhas

A simpler, more ‘cleaner’ look also definitely works too. It’s just as classy and just as elegant
