Reham Khan always seems to be getting herself into trouble and some people are fed up.
Just recently she tried to discredit the amazing work done for the movie Cake by claiming the only reason it made it to the Oscar’s was that of the producer’s ties with Imran Khan.
Reham pretty much discarded the hard work of the people involved in the movie when she alleged that the Oscar Selection Committee chose the movie produced by Zulfi Bukhari because of his “influence” and it started a war with the movie’s cast.

The cast of the movie, which includes actors like Aamina Sheikh, Sanam Saeed and Adnan Malik, are generally understood to have done pretty decent work in the movie. The film garnered rave reviews and Reham’s comments weren’t received well by people on social media. Even Adnan Malik responded to her.
Her words also did not sit well with Kamila Shamsie, who happened to be on the selection committee that chose to submit “Cake” in the Foreign Language Film Award category, representing Pakistan

By Kamila Shamsie’s tweet, “Cake” truly deserves to be a nomination for the Oscar’s, and it has nothing to do with the producer, Zulfi Bukhari’s, influence. She responded to Reham in a classy and appropriate manner, very becoming of what one assumes of Kamila.
Pakistanis were all for the clarification given by Kamila and her support of the movie.
