‘JPNA 2’ has had a fantastic run at the box office, creating history by becoming the most successful Pakistani film in national cinematic history. It allegedly raked in a whopping Rs. 20.9 million on its opening day during Eid and earning Rs. 206.4 million so far since its premiere (it’s only been a week).

‘JPNA 2‘ sought refuge in comfy Eid collections, surpassing its rival releases ‘Parwaaz Hai Junoon’ and ‘Load Wedding’ to reign the Pakistani box office.
The Pakistani film has also surpassed ‘Sanju,’ the Bollywood blockbuster that literally blew up the Pakistani box office, earning Rs. 186.5 million in its first week of release. The Ranbir Kapoor starrer was 2018’s most successful Bollywood film, not just in Pakistan but also in the global realm, earning Indian Rs. 579 crore. The Sanjay Dutt biopic became one of the most highest-grossing Indian films of all time too.
However, the report has stirred up a bit of trouble online, with many not believing the numbers and calling the report fake
