As we all know, tensions between Pakistan and India have been at an all-time high. Now, Javed Miandad has joined this rhetoric against India.
Javed Miandad, one of the most established names in Pakistani cricket, recently participated in an anti-India rally and spoke out in support of Kashmir in a video that has now gone viral.
Former Pakistan cricketer Javed Miandad threatening India while holding a sword: Pehle main balle se chakka marta tha, ab talwar se insaan maaronga (If I can hit six with a bat, why can’t I swing sword.. I used to hit sixes with bat, now I’ll kill humans with sword)… pic.twitter.com/blmK1XnbKS

The cricketer had previously said on 25th August that he would visit the Line Of Control with fellow sportsmen in order to propagate peace between India and Pakistan.
Following Miandad’s claim, Indians were NOT happy and they proceeded to break the internet with their outrage:
#JavedMiandad This is how this Ex Pak cricketer reacts to our removing Article 370 in Kashmir. “Balle se chakka maar sakta hu, talwar se insaan’ This speaks a lot about his “CHAKKAPAN” We in India can only pity his mental condition. pic.twitter.com/R5zDPNIGbT

Some used Javed Miandad to fight other battles…
IPS Basant Rath ji @KangriCarrier what will be your stand when your loved cricketer #JavedMiandad will attract our fellow Indians with his sword, will you save them or bat for him? pic.twitter.com/dLVXDAFU57

Pakistanis themselves didn’t react much about this whole controversy. Another day, another drama, right? Do you think Javed Miandad went a bit overboard by brandishing that sword? Let us know in the comments.
