Love you Immy K.
Imran Khan just said he wasn’t worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize and UGH this just makes us love him more.
I am not worthy of the Nobel Peace prize. The person worthy of this would be the one who solves the Kashmir dispute according to the wishes of the Kashmiri people and paves the way for peace & human development in the subcontinent.

After being nationally nominated for the honour (informally), the Prime Minister tweeted that the only person deemed fit to receive an award like that would be a person who would be able to solve the Kashmir dispute and allow peace to prevail in the subcontinent.
And OBVIOUSLY, we love him so much for it.
The last two weeks have been absolutely critical for the leaders of both Pakistan and India.
And not to brag but while India’s Modi has the hashtag, #WarMongerModi trending, Pakistan had the hashtag #NobelPeacePrizeForImranKhan go global so not that we’re keeping score but…
We tried nominating Imran Khan for the Nobel Peace Prize and had the entire nation help using Twitter.
Pakistanis began the hashtag after Khan deescalated the tension between India and Pakistan after an attack in Pulwama, Kashmir sparked complete unrest in India and Pakistan. Finally, after a captured Indian Air Force pilot, Commander Abhinandan was released from Pakistan’s custody as a peace gesture, we all thought Imran deserved an award.
And okay, though technically, he was not actually nominated and can’t be nominated for this year’s pick, he quite clearly deserves the honour in the eyes of his people which is a pretty big deal on its own. We’re Pakistani, it’s quite hard for us to find people of honour in politics around here and this is a huge step for us all.
Pakistanis are overjoyed with Khan’s statement and are even more in love with him than ever.
Well said. Humility, determination and commitment to peaceful resolution of Kashmir Issue is the wish of #Pakistani nation. Proposing #Noble peace award for this worthy cause is in itself a statesman’s initiative to attract all stakeholders.
