Everyone's Celebrating Imad ‘Ronaldo' Wasim After He Helped Win The Match Against Australia Last Night

By Sarmad Amer | 25 Oct, 2018

So yesterday Imad Wasim took Pakistan to a huge win over Australia. It was their first T20 match of the series in Abu Dhabi that the two countries are playing (we’ve already seen some drama over the now infamous “biscuit” trophy becoming a source of ridicule). Anyway, back to Imad.

This match was labelled as the big comeback for Imad Wasim and his terrific performance is winning him lots of fans

After his sudden rise in the PSL he had kind of disappeared from public consciousness due to some personal scandals, and health reasons. In the match last night Imad bowled over both Australian openers within just the first over and it was all downhill for Australia, from there.

His stunning performance won him the player of the match award

As Imad bowled the players out, his celebration style got noticed by quite a few people

There were lots of similarities noticed with Ronaldo’s style of celebration

People are even calling him Imad “Ronaldo” Wasim

Others are sad for Ronaldo

But who cares when he’s helped win the match

He ended up becoming a meme after all.

All’s well that ends well, right?
