Recently, pictures of Shireen Mazari’s daughter, Imaan Mazari started circulating on social media. She was photographed while partying.
Imaan Mazari, due to her mother’s political background, keeps being dragged online. Whether it’s over her outspoken demeanor or the fact that she is vocal about her liberal views, she keeps coming under fire constantly. This time around, it was no different.
Some people tried to call Imaan Mazari out on the pictures – because moral police baithi hee isi liye hai

Well, Imaan Mazari has finally broken her silence on the matter in a Facebook post
In her post, Imaan makes her stance and preferences crystal clear.
She talks about being a constant target for online persecution and how she’s pretty much over the whole scene. Imaan makes it pretty clear that she doesn’t care anymore and refuses to apologize for who she is.
People have spoken up in support
And have lauded her stance
They believe she’s right in speaking up against the trolls
Some had advice they wished to impart
While others stated that the haters were simply jealous
While Imaan has proven to be thick-skinned in the face of such blatant targeting, others who face the same may not be able to take the online bullying. In such cases, one can always turn to Digital Rights Foundation on their website and Facebook page. The organization aims to make the internet a safer space for users. They’ve even got a cyber harassment helpline set up to help victims of online harassment.
What is your take on this entire matter? Do you agree with what Imaan has to say? Let us know in the comments below.
