In case you haven’t been following his Facebook page, American comedian Jeremy McLellan is in Pakistan.
Jeremy has been visiting numerous places around Pakistan.
And he’s been taking a ton of pictures, documenting his journey.
He’s slowly beginning to understand our culture and all it has to offer.
And amongst this understanding of our culture and language, something pretty interesting is happening.
He’s starting to transform from Amreeki boi Jeremy…
…to biryani-consuming semi-desi boi, McLellan bhai.
(Bhai for all the men, of course.)
Jeremy is understanding local transport better.
He’s understanding the extent of the hard work that goes into making Lahore’s biryanis.

He’s checking out our borders…

…and is making sure we remain unharmed from any kind of potential threat.
In honor of Indian Independence Day, here I am training Pakistani spy pigeons to carry out top secret missions across the border. ?? pic.twitter.com/j9SNkFe9xp

See what I mean?
Good going, Jeremy. I feel safer knowing you’re patrolling our border.
He’s even sharing local graphics and is catching up on our desi lingo.
He’s already winning over some ladies, even though it may not please certain political figures.
Jeremy’s going to need a tabdeeli in location soon if he keeps this up.
He’s even throwing shade where shade must be thrown.
Jeremy’s also almost ready for the next time we take down opposing teams in cricket.
However, he isn’t afraid to admit that he’s still a learner.
Haye Jeremy. Seekhlo aaram se. Koi jaldi nahi hai.
He even went and said salaam to Uncle Sargam.
And he celebrated Independence Day in full swing.

But the final step of the transformation was revealed to us unsuspecting mortals in a way none of us expected. He announced his acceptance into the world of Pindi Boys.
In all seriousness, we’re super glad Jeremy visited Pakistan. His sense of humor and the documentation of his journey have successfully highlighted the beauty that exists within our country – beauty that is often overlooked amongst news of bloodshed and destruction.
Aakhir main, we can only thank Jeremy for embracing the desiness that has always existed within him. Bohot shukria, Jeremy.
