Coke Studio Just Opened With The National Anthem And Haye, Goosebumps Yaar

By MangoBaaz Studio | 4 Aug, 2017

The time is finally upon us. Coke Studio has raised its curtains after an aching one-year hiatus, and after what feels like a lifetime of playing past season songs on non-stop loops, the exhilarating musical platform is back to soothe our souls.

In its patriotic and ethnically rich charm, Coke Studio’s first song is a glorious rendition of our national anthem.

With incredibly soulful vocals from the likes of Attaullah Khan Esakhelvi and Coke Studio veteran Mekaal Hasan the anthem immediately gave us chills.

And every singer from Coke Studio is part of it

Ali Hamza and Nirmal Roy also both make a return to Coke Studio, obviously giving us all major feels.

We were also delighted with the evergreen Humera Arshad, who was literally one of the biggest female voices of the 90’s, alongside the retro Rachel Viccaji and newcomer Aima Baig.

Oh and hello – the king of Pop, Sajjad Ali is back, who’s returning to Coke with all engines fired

Along with Amanat Ali, Humera Channa is also back – remember she was deemed the Noor Jehan of an entire generation in the 80’s

We also get to hear Strings sing after quite some time and our hearts are melting

It also seems like umraan since we’ve seen Ali Sethi perform and our hearts are giddy with joy

We aren’t the only ones freaking out. Pakistanis everywhere have fallen for the lovely homage to our national anthem

With many pouring out their adoration

And others getting incredibly emotional

Many have been moved by the touching ode

Complimenting the fantastic modern, melodic twist

Pakistan Zindabad indeed *cue tears*
