11 Things Everyone Remembers About Their Pehla Pyaar

By MangoBaaz Studio | 24 Aug, 2017

Hey friends, we thought we would take a walk down memory lane and talk about our pehla pyaar. When we were all pimple faced and nervous and just trying to figure out life, being obsessed with your first love was something everyone could relate to.

Whether you were 5 or 15, no one forgets their first love. It doesn’t matter if it was on your teacher, your best friend or your parosipehla pyaar pehla pyaar hota hai yaar.

Here are a couple of things we all love about our pehla pyaar:

1. All those butterflies in your stomach

Aaaah, whether you only saw them once in a while or every day, seeing your first love around would bring millions of butterflies to your tummy. Though it would make you completely nervous and anxious, it was all part of the fun of having a first love.

2. Thinking about them, ALL the time

I mean, did anything else matter at that point? Nope. No way. No chance. Sirf pyaar.

3. Celebrating every little thing

From celebrating your two week anniversary or two day anniversary to the first time you looked at each other – one of the best things about your pehla pyaar was the fact that you made everything a big deal. Buying a box of NESTLÉ Fruita Vitals Chaunsa to celebrate everything. Yum.

4. Fighting over the stupidest things

The fact that your significant other would get mad at you for not saying hello to them as soon as you saw them or for not using the right tone or LITERALLY ANYTHING. We all secretly loved it, because it showed how much they cared. Plus what fun is a relationship without a little fight here and there?

5. Making up

With every fight came a break up and with every break up, came the make up. Breaking up and getting back together was almost a game when it came to your first love. It was all good though, because all you had to do was buy her her favourite perfume, chocolate and some NESTLÉ Fruita Vitals Chaunsa, and boom – you were back together. Simple. Haye.

6. Talking late at night

OoOoh there was nothing like the thrill of staying up late talking to your bae all night. Not to mention the (SCARY) thrill of hiding your phone as soon as your ammi came in the room and you had to pretend being asleep to avoid the daant.

Good times.

7. Datein shatein

Even though 293792 of your friends were there and you were at tuition and on the constant look out for your mom, dad, bhai, pupho, or literally anyone in your family – seeing your first love was one of the most exciting things. I mean come on, sitting in the park with a sandwich and some chaunsa, uff haye, feels yaar. ‘

8. All the emo Facebook statuses

Okay we all look back at these and cringe now, but putting emotional or sentimental statuses all over Facebook or MYSPACE OR ORKUT (HAHA REMEMBER THOSE?) was the most perfect way of showing your boyfriend or girlfriend or crush how you felt. Or just being completely passive aggressive and annoying lollllsy.

9. Looking back at how stupid we all were

Exception to those who are still with their first loves, kudos to you and well – hate you. Lolsy. It’s funny to look back now and see how stupid, rash and care free we all were.

10.  All the innocence

Trying to hold hands, not being able to make eye contact with each other, tripping on your words – everything about falling in love for the first time was so pure, cute na?

11. Falling out of love

Lolsy, first loves were great and all – but nothing can beat your last love. Or food.

Do you have any fun stories about your first love? Is there anything you remember that you wish you could forget? Have you not fallen in love yet? Forever Alone? Same. Love you. Either way, let us know in the comments below!
