Okay, you know when your hair isn’t exactly in the best condition? And you pretty much have to hear any one of the following things:
“Wahan ka pani itna acha nai hai?” “Fazool cheezain he khaya karo bus!” “Beta anda or dahi lagao.” “Yaar tel har haftay lagaya karo.” If you’re tired of hearing all of this, we may actually have a little solution to your hair problem. The answer is simple: hair oil.
For many years, this hair oil has been used as a remedy to help with hair fall. Recently, I challenged one of my co-workers to try it before her big day.
You know, them ‘pre-wedding totkay‘. She used this oil regularly for a month. She took pictures of the progress, and we’ve included them in the article. We noticed her hair had not only grown longer in a very short time but they were much thicker than they were before, especially from the roots.
Here’s how it all went down:
We all gathered for this special occasion. I presented my friend with the magic hair oil, she actually took an oath to apply this every day for 15 minutes, in front of all our colleagues. We took a picture every Friday. Here are the results.
Week One.
So we were all kinda very pessimistic about this treatment. There was almost no difference in her scalp. We thought it wouldn’t work. Probably should’ve been more patient.
Week Two.
Okay, this is when we could see a difference. We put both the pictures next to each other and noticed that her parting had narrowed and there were several follicles visible, showing new hair growth. Yay for progress!
Week Three.
This week was way better than the week before. We could see the hair getting thicker and more volumized. The difference was subtle but evident at the same time. The whole thing was actually working.
And finally…Week Four.
This was definitely the best week. We could actually notice a huge difference between the first week and the last. The parting narrowed more, her hair grew thicker. Moreover, it was evident that the growth was a lot faster than when the oil was not being used.
All in all, we’ve got to admit – it worked for us
So I won’t brag about it forever. I’ll share the secret with you guys. This works better than onion water and what not, so if you’ve had enough, do give this simple and easy method a go to obtain those gorgeous locks everyone says are essential to have.
Here’s what you need to do. You’ll need the following ingredients:
- Olive oil (zaitoon ka tael): 1 cup
- Mustard oil (sarson ka tael): 1 cup
- Fenugreek seeds (methi daana): 1/4th cup
All you need to do is roast or broil the seeds without any oil for about 3-5 minutes or when they’re fragrant enough. Then, mix the oils together and add the roasted seeds in a bottle. Let this bottle be, the ingredients will infuse together in about 15 days.
15 days later, your oil is ready to use. If you’re using it regularly, keep it in for 15-20 minutes and wash your hair immediately.
This is important, since leaving the oil on for long can cause mild heat reactions i.e. pimples and blisters.
