Frieha Altaf, who was recently in the news for opening up about sexual abuse, is making headlines again. This time the problem is that she took pictures of people at the airport and criticized their wardrobe choices.
The pictures were posted up on Frieha’s Instagram and were noticed by many people for being insensitive
Several people became a target of Frieha Altaf’s tirade
People started commenting soon on how she had crossed a line. Many called it a misuse of privilege that she has as a member of the elite society

I don't believe in shaming people for their cultural attire, yes.

It’s so sad when fully grown adults don’t know how to act as functioning members of society. This is something a teenager would post and think they’re super cool for doing it

People also mentioned her support for Fasih Ahmed, linking it to her being insensitive. At the same time, they also brought up her sharing her abuse story and calling her a hypocrite
I've come to expect very little from people who defended Fasih Ahmed. Not only are they insensitive and inconsiderate, they're also ignorant.

Pakistanis stood up for fellow Pakistanis to ensure that no one judges them for what they are wearing
I can totally inform Frieha that sometimes it is more about priorities rather than "attire". I know people, my friends, have travelled from on city to another fully dressed for wedding. They only flew to attend the wedding directly and didn't want to spend a day in that city.

Spoiled brats like her and @haniaamirpk think that just because they're famous, it gives them the right to be rude and condescending to anyone. Pathetic people. It's like they say. "Mehngay kapray, sastay log"

This Twitter user thanked God for not being at the airport when Frieha was there
On a side note, glad that @FriehaAltaf hasn’t seen me at an airport warnaa there would’ve been a proper fatwa on how I need to be dressed before getting onto a flight.

The best tweet, however, was this user showing the kind of attire which he believes would be approved by Frieha

Pakistani celebrities and their privilege needs to be checked because they keep on violating the same rules they stand up for
Frieha invaded people’s personal space and privacy and took pictures of them without their permission. She then went ahead and commented on their dressing, which people believe was unethical of her because they don’t need anyone’s approval to dress in a manner they like. At the same time, many also feel that she is misusing her status.
Why is no one talking about this? She is violating his personal space and clearly he’s uncomfortable being in her pictures but instead of stopping she’s enjoying and making fun of it. THIS IS NOT OKAY pic.twitter.com/U5ToK6DGJk

Earlier, Hania Amir was criticized for her shaming of a private citizen on her Snapchat and so were Shahbaz Taseer and Nadia Jamil for supporting Fasih Ahmed, the Newsweek Pakistan Editor who tweeted insensitive messages about Zainab’s rape.
Frieha is using her privileged background to comment about anyone under the sun. People expect adults to act mature and this was not something that people were expecting out of Frieha Altaf.
