Recently, someone posted a picture of this little food stall on a Facebook group and that food stall has a… uhmm… interesting name
The stall, named L.P.C – short for Long Potato Chips – is located at Ayesha Manzil in Karachi. Though the owners seem to be cashing in on tongue-in-cheek humor, the name of the stall – as expected – sparked a debate on the Facebook group.
Some people saw their chance and just went for it
Others didn’t get the joke
Or find anything wrong with the extremely NSFW name
Some salaamed the owners’ collective soch
And others reflected on the mentality
Some folks were farigh enough to point out how farigh the owner is
This person was just super glad that a clarification was offered
While this one was letting their imagination run a little too wild
Maybe this dude’s right and we need to get our minds out of the gutter
This one voiced their thoughts rather eloquently
Some were already prepared to boycott the stall
There were lamentations about the sad state of affairs
Others were outraged that they had to see this with their own two eyes
(even though they could’ve scrolled past it)
There was critique over the marketing tactics
Uhmm… there was this comment too, for some inexplicable reason
But the true essence of the city of Karachi was beautifully summed by this guy
Undoubtedly, the name’s a clever way to get people talking. The post has garnered a lot of attention already.
Would you go to this shop? Have you been already?
