Fawad Afzal Khan is an all-around chiller. He’s the Asher to every girl’s Khirad and ever since he debuted as the Asher of Humsafar he has been ruling the hearts and minds of desi folks all around the world.
You’ve seen him act like a legend
He sings
And he’s very, very easy on the eyes.
Maybe a little too sinfully easy, at times.
But did you know he’s legit a good guy, too?
Like, the kind of guy who would go out of his way to help others in need.
According to a recent post on Facebook a guy, Alee Sulehri, witnessed a rickshaw collision on a Lahore road
Alee rushed to the scene of the accident to see if anyone needed any help, and he saw that a 3-year old was also in one of the two rickshaws that had collided with each other. Little did he know, there was another man who had rushed out of his car to help those injured.
Fawad, like the kind hearted soul that he is, came out of his car, checked up on all the people involved in the accident and helped the injured
While inquiring about the 3-year old, Fawad covered up the older woman involved in the accident with a cloth, while Alee, who is apparently a doctor, checked her to see if she had any broken bones. When Alee discovered that the elderly woman most probably had her ribs fractured, Fawad immediately offered to take her to the hospital in his own car.
By this time, the ambulance was already there, so the two, after ensuring the safety of those involved in the accident, made their way home.
Alee also managed to get a picture with the superstar after the panic had settled down.
Why is this news for us and why does this come as a surprise?
Because we live in a world where regular people don’t stop and help each other, and Fawad, being a celebrity who does not like appearing in public a lot, didn’t think twice before stepping out of his car. What Fawad also did, with his act of kindness, is set a precedence for everyone who passes by an accident and keeps moving further, thinking someone else will stop and help the affected. So, thank you Fawad. For proving that you’re a solid guy through and through. And we hope and pray that those affected in the accident are completely safe and out of harm’s way.
The world needs more people like him #FawadKhan. Thanks @Ayesha_ZaYain for sharing pic.twitter.com/fBtmwiGtGg
