It’s over. It’s Monday morning and I feel like all excitement in my life has extinguished into a blithering abyss. The PSL final had all of Pakistan buzzing in unison. It was the most exciting weekend for all of us, and the match between the Zalmis and Gladiators was absolutely epic.
For those who missed the match live, or whether you’re like myself who’s drowning in a cricket-less life of blues, then these are the highlights from the final that’ll make you feel like you’re reliving the whole night.
The adrenaline and energy was buzzing in Lahori air as both teams took to the pitch…
This is going to be the event of the year ❤?#PslFinalLahore #CricketComesHome #QaddafiStadium pic.twitter.com/zML1lLf5TA

We also had Indians tuning in to watch the match. Some say there were more Indian viewers than Pakistani ones:
More so than us Pakistanis! Talk about flattery from across the border.
Thanks India for Watching❤☺#PslFinalLahore pic.twitter.com/trqS5NrtHk

And Pakistanis abroad had screenings, like these students at LSE

Then we had Marwa bringing up her weird fascination with Ranbir
Is it just me or people screaming Zalmi Zalmi is actually sounding like Ranbir Ranbir.. ??❤ #PSLFinal2017

How can we forget some of the Lala fans present at the match who were a little too risque in their undying adoration for the face of the Zalmis
It took me a while to understand this….#NaughtyMe pic.twitter.com/UXwV7qlOF2

Our man Rameez Raja was there too looking rather dapper
That J for Junaid Jamshed on his sherwani was very touching to say the least.
And, our very own Ramiz Raja in the traditional attire for PSL final. pic.twitter.com/ajsONpaaLt

The anthem was…a little off….
It made many reminiscent of last year’s buzzkill, courtesy of Shafqat Amanat Ali…
This national anthem was brought to you by Shafqat Amanat Ali.
— Shabbir Kazmi (@HaayeShabbir) March 5, 2017
I blame Shafqat Amanat Ali for the anthem.
— Shumail (@Shumyl) March 5, 2017
But that still didn’t dampen the patriotic spirit we felt as a nation
BEST NATIONAL ANTHEM.OF THE WORLD, PAKISTAN ZINDABAAAD

Go Nawaz Go slogans were frivolously popping up too
Just now: Punjab police being welcomed by "Go Nawaz Go" slogans. Epic. Dharna has definitely given a lot of awareness! #PSLFinalLahore pic.twitter.com/BNu15Bm8wb

Quetta wasn’t doing too well halfway into the match though and people started getting agitated
Quetta lost half of its team. Not their fault
— Manahal (@LeSherlocked) March 5, 2017
And some blamed Chockaa for the sore loss
This cost Quetta the tournament pic.twitter.com/Y0KxD16t6M
