2018 is a year we’re all looking forward to. Primarily, because we all like being alive. Also, because it has a lot of really nice things in store for us. More birthdays, more shaadis, the prospect of meeting the loves of our lives (lol itne saal tau hua nahi, ek aur saal, ek nayi umeed hi sahi) and also tonnes of entertainment! We have new movies coming in as well as dramas. We have performers coming doosre mulkoun se to perform in our homeland. And we have some of our favorite people visiting after years. So here it is, everything we know, so far, of things we need to look forward to, in 2018, entertainment-wise:
1. We have the highly anticipated film ‘Parchi’ coming out in the first week of the new year
2. ‘Cake The Film’ is also all set to release in March, 2018
3. While we don’t have a date for ‘Parwaaz Hai Junoon’, we know that the filming has wrapped up and we can’t wait to get a set release date
4. What we do know and absolutely canNOT wait for is the Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi and Humaima Malik starrer ‘Maula Jatt 2’
5. More from Ahad Raza Mir, the latest pre-partition saga ‘Aangan’ also has it shooting underway
6. Rumor has it, Armeena Khan and Mikaal Zulfiqar are also coming together for a film called ‘Sherdil’
‘Sherdil’ is Azfar Jafri’s (Janaan, Parchi) next directorial venture
7. The international music sensation Diplo is coming back to Pakistan for an absolutely crazy bloc party
8. Moving on to one of the women who made crazy headlines in 2017, Faryal Makhdoom is all set to visit Pakistan in the coming year
9. Another woman, the nation’s favorite bhaabi, Jemima Khan, is also said to be paying the country a visit after 15 long years
10. We heard on the grapevine, that Fawad Khan might work in Bollywood again, opposite Alia Bhatt, one more time after ‘Kapoor And Sons’
11. The Pakistani-origin ladies, Krewella, who have taken the entire world by storm also said that they will be performing in Pakistan in 2018
We’d be lying if we said we weren’t excited AF
