Cynthia Ritchie has come out with accusations against Rehman Malik.
Earlier in the day Cynthia D. Ritchie, who is an American writer and filmmaker residing in Pakistan tweeted about allegedly being threatened by the Pakistani Peoples’ Party. She said that they kept on threatening her because they know that over the years she was allegedly raped and assaulted by men from their party.
She further stated that she would reveal more details in a live video on her Facebook.

In her live video, Cynthia made shocking allegations against former Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Makhdoom Shahabudin, and former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani
She says she was allegedly raped by Rehman Malik while Makhdoom Shahabudin and Yousaf Raza Gilani allegedly physically manhandled her.

She said she would be happy to reveal more details to neutral and trustworthy journalists. She said she had already narrated the incident to a few people, in case something happens to her.
The revelations immediately caused a major stir on social media. People asked questions of how this had happened and she clarified on Twitter. She specified that the incident took place in 2011, she was invited to the Interior Minister’s house and thought it had to do with her visa.
Cynthia says she kept quiet because at the time Rehman Malik was the Interior Minister and she thought no one in the government would ever help her
But she is now making the allegations public because there had been a recent attack on her family and she had had it.

She further clarified that she did allegedly tell someone at the US Embassy however the response was less than adequate because of the precarious US-Pakistan relations at the time. Earlier she specified the incident happened near the time of Osama Bin Laden being shot and killed in Pakistan by the US.
She is now engaged to a man who has apparently encouraged her to make these allegations public.
And, yes, I did tell someone at the UsEmb in 2011, but due to 'fluid' situation and 'complex' relations between US and Pakistan, response was less than adequate.

She says she is now exhausted and wants a few days with her fiancé
However, she will be ready to talk to any investigator as early as next week if she is required to by law. She also asked Bilawal Bhutto and his party PPP, to leave her and her family alone.
There is much more. But now I need a few days to rest and be alone with my fiance. I'm tired.

The PPP has yet to make a statement regarding these allegations.
