By Iman Zia | 2 May, 2017

Pakistani cricket is a wonder. There are moments in this magical sport that leave you in an emotional mess ( a good kind albeit). And Azhar Ali just gave us another lovely one through his tribute.

Azhar Ali just completed his 13th century on the second day of the second test against West Indies and what he did as soon as he earned it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL.

*Cue all the feels*

He celebrated like Misbah-ul-haq, as a tribute to him

Watch this beautiful gesture unfurl below.

Pakistanis couldn’t be more thrilled.

The salute has given comfort to Pakistani cricket fans that the new lot will keep grace and dignity intact, in the sport

Who knows, maybe Azhar could be a test captain himself, some day?

AzharĀ sure has proven himself

Misbah’s legacy has beautifully inspiredĀ our players

And the love Azhar showed today is the best example

Take a bow indeed

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves

Azhar you beaut you. All the more power to you!

Editor’s note: Changes have been made to reflect the correct team the match was played against. An earlier version stated that the match was played against Australia in Melbourne.
