In today’s absolutely feel-good news, Asim Azhar kind of cryptically hinted at his relationship with Hania Aamir and it’s all just so adorable!
They have been the talk of the town ever since they walked together for Munib Nawaz at the Bridal Couture Week in December, and they also set the stage on fire while they were at it. It was after this show that people started to think that they were dating, but they never formally confirmed or denied the news.
And then all of the cute Instagram posts started pouring in, and they continue to make my day.
I mean look at this. I need someone to look at me like Asim is looking at Hania…
Look at them – just casually looking all cute and adorable while celebrating Hania’s birthday. Ugh, goals!
Matching jackets, killing me with their vibe.
Then, fairly recently, just slaying us in general when Asim Azhar sang, “Jo Tu Na Mila”, while Hania walked down the ramp in a red, bridal gown!

But anyway, in a recent interview with BBC’s Haroon Rashid, Asim kinda spilled the beans(ish) about his dynamics with Hania!

When asked if he was indeed in a relationship with Hania, he replied that he isn’t in a position to answer that really casually or frankly. But he still went on to describe how it’s like to be around her.
“She’s the kind of person who brings a lot of positivity in my life, and it’s so much fun being around her.”
He talked about how they’re always laughing when they’re together and how they’re always messing around, and how he’s thankful to have someone in his life who genuinely supports whatever he does.
Where it got intense, however, was when Haroon asks whether them not openly disclosing or talking about their relationship stems from the social conditioning in Pakistan.
Asim replied, saying that he respects her, and that any comment on the said relationship would have to be with her consent, given that she’s equal in the equation and therefore gets to have as much say as he does on the dynamics of their relationship – and that it’s not because of any social pressure at all.
He also talked about how doing projects and photo shoots with Hania wasn’t because of a commercial arrangement, but because of the fact that he gets to spend more time with the person that he likes hanging out with.
He opened up about people’s concerns of him posting a lot of pictures with Hania. His explanation for doing so was that he likes sharing those moments, and in between anything else and his own peace of heart, he would choose the latter, and therefore, would keep these posts up for the same reason.
All in all, he was just really happy with the fact that Pakistan is now heading towards a more progressive culture where people can talk about their own opinions, and that the audience is now more receptive to relationship and dating in general.
Honestly though, whatever their status is – whether they’re just friends or actually in a relationship – I’m just thankful for their existence, and for them blessing our lives with their wholesome as hell relationship!
It’s just so overwhelming to see two people having fun, respecting each other’s personal choices and spaces, and talking about each other with absolute admiration and respect. And that’s exactly why we all ship these two till the end of eternity!
