Ali Noor's Friends Trolling Him Over His Coke Studio Cover Of “Sayonee” Is Beyond Hilarious

By Iman Zia | 31 Aug, 2017

Ali Noor really hasn’t been having the best time these days. The musical prodigy suffered stripped criticism after his rendition of Junoon’s beloved ‘Sayonee‘ in Coke Studio Season 10 with Salman Ahmad and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. The song is a soft spot for many Pakistanis, all who grew up incredibly fond of Junoon; hence it came as no particular surprise that many would be wary of a rendition on such a profound platform like Coke.

Fans didn’t take a liking to ‘Sayonee,’ and felt nothing did justice to the original

And while some put blame on Rahat Fateh Ali Khan

Others indicted Coke Studio of murder of the first degree

And some were just giving a heads up to others

While trollers haven’t considered a ceasefire, bullets are still pouring down over the three musicians, in particularly Ali Noor…

VJ Anoushey Ashraf took to Snapchat to troll dear friend Ali Noor about the faux-pas that was ‘Sayonee.’ She posted a series of snaps in different scenarios throughout the day, mocking Ali Noor in a light hearted manner about the song, taunting him with ‘chain aik pal nahi’ and chuckling along with the humble musician, who played along delightfully.
