Akcent is coming to Pakistan

Akcent is a well-celebrated Romanian pop band. Having a massive fan following in Pakistan, the band occasionally visits Pakistan for concerts. Not to mention that Akcent loves Pakistan and we have proof.

Akcent apparently loves Pakistan and they’ve not been shy in showing it

The lead of the pop-act Adrian wished Pakistan on its independence day. The ”Dil Dil Pakistan Jaan Jaan Pakistan’‘ that he sang literally took our hearts away.

On Defence Day, Akcent wished Pakistan by trolling India about the Abhinandan incident

When Indian fighter pilot Abhinandan was detained while in Pakistan, he was offered tea which he found to be “fantastic”. The phrase became famous around the world, also representing the iconic hospitality of Pakistanis even toward their enemies.

Now they have announced their visit to Pakistan with the same catchphrase

Akcent is coming to Lahore on November 24. Buy me tickets already!

DG ISPR Asif Ghafoor also welcomed them with the offer to enjoy the tea

Never one to forgo an opportunity to troll someone and keep himself hip with the youths, Asif Ghafoor sahab quickly responded to Akcent. At 3am in the morning, no less. The fact that Major General Ghafoor’s acerbic wit is active at that hour is cause for a salute.

This exchange seems to have trigged some Indians

Naturally, people on the other side of the border didn’t receive this witty exchange between Akcent and DG ISPR very happily.

But Pakistanis are in absolute love over the savagery

We can’t contain our excitement for November 24. As for the fantastic Pakistani chai, I’m sure Wing Commander Abhinandan can vouch for how deliciously welcoming Pakistani tea and its hospitality really is.
