Sara Khan is an Indian actress who is NOT afraid to voice her opinions and wear the clothes she wants to.

She’s fierce AF

The actress recently had a press conference with Bollywood celebrity, Rakhi Sawant.
Now that you’ve read that sentence, please do imagine how interesting this is going to be. Rakhi and Sara were doing a press conference after some bikini campaign and they begin to talk about the issues Sara had with the shoot.

Sara talks about how in the Muslim community is it said that women should wear a burqa.
She clearly has issues with that general notion and asks why only women are required to cover themselves. She poses the question as to why men don’t cover their eyes or aren’t required to do so.
This is where Rakhi comes into the mix, clapping and hooting for Sara’s statement.
Sara goes on to say that women need to be respected the most since they give birth. Now really, her points aren’t crazy or anything, they make sense.

I don’t think I need to say this next part, but heck: People went BONKERS!

Someone brought up some of Rakhi’s past statements

Some men were giving *interesting* opinions
And by interesting I mean disgusting

Sara was also called a non-Muslim for many people commenting

Okay, this is neither funny or necessary

It’s also SOO awful to use verses against people like that

People sentenced her to jahannum

And here we have the usual ‘attention seeker’ type comments

Lastly, some men used the same old rhetoric of ‘nazar neechay rakho’ to justify their actions

This isn’t the first time something like this has happened, especially with Sara Khan. Yes, the whole set up of the talk and the language used was far from perfect, but maybe we should all just be a little more tolerant of others and their opinions.
