Coke Studio Season 11 has been quite a bit of a disappointment so far. The songs just haven’t stuck and well, people just haven’t been all too engaged.
Today, Coke Studio might just have gotten their saving grace.
Abrar Ul Haq and Aima Baig were paired up for a song called ‘Ballay Ballay’, which was marketed as the ‘Shaadi song of the year’.
It just released, and umm, we AGREE
This song has it all, a great tempo, amazing vocals and a beat that can make ANYONE get up and dance
We all know and love Abrar Ul Haq for his amazing voice. He’s iconic and is definitely one of the faces you immediately associate with Punjabi music in Pakistan.
Aima Baig has, in the past year or so, proven to be a strong vocalist and she definitely rose to the challenge of matching Abrar Ul Haq’s speed and vocal range.
The combination of these two singers just WORKS!
