It was a Saturday night and I was out on the town to enjoy my weekend. Don’t worry, I wasn’t out on some crazy party scene. I was simply at a restaurant, waiting for my friend to show up.

I was seated facing the wall and scrolling through my phone. I turn back since I was bumped by a stranger as they walked by and my eyes fell on the most handsome man. His face registered in my mind but I didn’t believe.

Was it really Nabeel Zuberi? 

This was legit me 

I decide to take a very risky turn and have a look for myself. 3..2..1 and BAM, I turn. Haye, it’s him! Well, since my friend wasn’t there yet, so I instantly shifted seats so that I could have a proper look at the man.

Let me tell you something, he doesn’t look like his Instagram posts, he looks better.

How is that even possible?

What are his genes? 

I usually pride myself on being discreet in these situations, and for the longest time, I thought I was until I noticed three of his friends staring at me.

I went RED and instantly hid my face in the menu. I quickly gathered my courage and slowly looked up and they all started laughing.

The rest of the evening I had to keep myself from looking in their direction. 

Seeing him interact with the people in his life made me realize that he’s extremely loyal and loving with those he loves the most. Also, the notion that good-looking people attract other good-looking people in their life is absolutely true for Nabeel Zuberi.

My only regret is not actually going up to him and saying ‘Hi’, maybe even asking for a selfie. I just thought it’s best not to disturb someone when they’re out with their friends. Oh well, missed out on my chance 🙁
