A lot of people were surprised when Aamir Liaquat contested in the 2018 General Election on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s ticket in NA-245, Karachi.
When he actually ended up winning the election, some people were concerned about him being an MNA, however, the concerns were put on a back burner as people decided to trust Imran Khan’s decision.
But as it turns out, it might not have been the wisest choice because now, Aamir Liaquat is already vocal about his displeasure with PTI and it’s leadership.
Aamir Liaquat just made sure to let everyone know he isn’t happy about how he is being treated by PTI.

In his tweet, he says he is merely making his position clear about how a meeting in the governor house of Karachi is currently underway with all MNAs and MPAs invited except him. And clearly, Aamir is salty about this fact.
He also quoted a phrase famously used by Asif Ali Zardari in the tweet about how things like these happen in such businesses…it’s a little cryptic. And people are making some assumptions about him using this phrase.

Apart from this tweet, Liaquat also talked to the media and snitched on PTI.
He stated that while Imran Khan said the governor house would not be used in order to save money, he knew for a fact that it was fully operational right now with meetings being held there.
He has been publicly talking about his displeasure with the party and with Imran Khan specifically. And this has angered a lot of people who want to remind him that he won because of the fact that he was an MNA for Imran Khan’s party and NOT the other way around.

Even PTI senator Faisal Javed chimed in on Aamir Liaquat’s displeasure in front of the press saying that people voted for Imran Khan, not Aamir. And had Imran Khan even nominated a pole, it would have won. OUCH.
And because of his complaints against the party, people are calling him a snake.
