Shaadi season is back. And it’s back with a lot of spice this year. Whether it’s mehndis, shendis or shendalimas (yup they’re a thing now apparently) you will be dancing your ass off, and if you aren’t dancing you probably will see your friends dance. With countless dance practices and just about a hundred mehndi/shendi/shendalimas, you will have memorized all of the following songs, because there is literally no way to avoid them.
1. Chamkeeli – Abrar ul Haq
The Punjabi song king of the 90’s is back with a new song and we’re all loving it. It’s the perfect song for mehndi entrances.
2. O Saki Saki – Batla House
With Nora Fatehi having become a sensation with her unreal dancing moves, this song and her other classics Dilbar and Ek Toh Kum Zindagani are dominating dance floors for mehndis everywhere. We all try but of course we can’t do physics defying moves that Nora behn has been pulling off.
3. Ghungroo – War
Politics of this movie aside, this song for mehndi dancing is really nice. Light beats and easy steps se le ke boys who could legit give Hrithik a competition, everyone can flex their dancing muscles to this song.
4. Item Number – Teefa in Trouble
Again, politics of the people involved with the song aside, this has definitely been a fixture as a song for mehndi dancing since it came out.
5. Sauda Khara Khara – Good Newwz
After the success of O Saki Saki it seems that Bollywood is on a remix roll so they’re remixing songs from our childhood and this one is just the start.

Bollywood seems to have run out of lyrics or ideas for songs so they’re just “remixing” all the old ones from our childhood. 🤷🏾♀️
