‘3 Idiots’ was phenomenal, and was both a critical and commercial success as it told an achingly warm tale of three struggling engineering students at a university in a moving coming-of-age drama. The film was the highest grossing film upon release in its opening weekend in India, also holding the record for the highest opening day collections for an Indian film.
According to Indian publication ‘Pinkvilla,’ director Rajkumar Hirani was asked if he would ever make a sequel to his hit ‘3 Idiots’ during an interview for his upcoming film ‘Sanju’
