Team Pakistan Lost The Test Match Against Sri Lanka And People Think It's Shan Masood's Fault

By Sarmad Amer | 10 Oct, 2017

Team Pakistan just lost the test match against Sri Lanka, with the opposing side winning the match by 68 runs after two innings. This was Pakistan’s first “home” series defeat since the grounds for Pakistan moved to UAE because of international teams not coming to the country after the security situation worsened, a few years ago.

After taking out Sri Lanka for 96 runs in the second innings, there were high hopes for our boys in green

But then they all collapsed to 248 all out as the Sri Lankan off-spinner Dilruwan Perera took 5-98

Fans are obviously disappointed

And many are trying to analyze why the team lost and what lessons were learned for the future

And many fans are pointing to one reason

They’re saying that the defeat was because of players who don’t necessarily have the talent or experience for international cricket.

One player in particular is being held responsible – Shan Masood

Fans think he doesn’t deserve to be in the team as compared to some other players who they prefer better

And this one just compared Shan Masood’s case to political nepotism that has become a hot topic in Pakistan

Even haters of Ahmed Shehzad would rather prefer to see him play than Shan Masood

Savage burns were being made

And armchair analysts were putting out theories of their own

Somebody even managed to dig up some stats

To sum it up, people were really fucking disappointed in Shan

What do you think about the reason for Team Pakistan’s loss in the test match against the Sri Lankans?
