How Jurassic World Offended Pakistanis

By Ali Gul | 18 Jun, 2015

Jurassic World is on its way to becoming one of the highest grossing movies of all time. While audiences have loved the film, a dinosaur named Pachycephalosaurus (pronounced ‘pak-ee-sef-a-low-sor -us’) has caused some controversy for Pakistanis.  In one of the opening scenes a character shouts, “The Pachys are out of containment”. Believe it or not but it unintentionally sounded like a racist slur and the tweeters spoke up.

Things got a bit more hysterical when a British Pakistani comedian named Guzzy Bear released a video online with regards to this controversy. You can watch the video below and let us know what you think about the Pakisaurus!
