While Coke Studio Was Happening, This Is What You Missed About Pakistan vs West Indies

By Aam Nawab | 24 Sep, 2016

Last night, when everyone was watching the Coke Studio Season Finale, Pakistan was also taking on the West Indies in Dubai. After all, they are the T20 champions *plays Champion by DJ Bravo*

So going into the match, a lot of people had their doubts about our men in green.

But then, Imad Wasim began to use the cracks on the pitch to crack the West Indies batting line-up. And boy oh boy were people surprised at what happened.

Waisay, let’s be honest. A lot of us (me included) were still nervous about the remainder of the match as these wickets were falling.

Were you not thinking to yourself “yaar, abhee batting bhee kernee hai?” When did we become so pessimistic? Sigh.

But that didn’t happen. And people really started getting excited after the 4th wicket went down.

And maybe they were starting to feel like we might actually win the match too.

Meanwhile, many people were finally able to find some common ground

Mohammad Amir‘s absence was certainly felt by some

Fortunately, the team was able to cope well without him. In case you’re wondering where he was, well this guy seems to have a theory.

But that’s okay, because Imad stepped up.

Obviously, someone had to make an India reference (make love not war)

Something around this?

Pakistan Batting Tweets came after 10:45 pm

When it came time for our batting, well, things went by REALLY REALLY SMOOTHLY.

Which doesn’t happen that often :/ Sharjeel started the innings off well putting in 3 fours and a six before giving up his wicket #typical

Sharjeel, here’s someone who has some advice for you tho

Things definitely ended on a positive note and we’re all looking forward to what’s to come next

Let’s all take a moment of silence for this guy:

While the team was fighting hard for glory, this is what Capt. Misbah was up to 😉
