The Orange Line Metro Train Just Completed It's First Trial Run And The Internet Was Savage ?

The much-awaited Orange Line Metro Train (OLMT), Pakistan’s first metro line, had its first trial run near its depot yesterday in Lahore.

Khawaja Ahmad Hassan, the advisor to the Chief Minister of Punjab, has announced that four more train sets have reached Lahore.

The multi-billion rupee project has a 12 km long track that extends from Dera Gujran to Lakshmi Chowk and according to government officials, the project will be completed by next week.

The Chief Minister of Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif, tweeted the news about the first successful trial of the metro train.

His tweet was followed by some pretty hilarious responses:

There was an ongoing debate on why the train is red…..guess they can’t see the orange line.

People were coming up with a lot of nicknames for our Chief Minister

 

 

And also some pretty funny jokes…..

 

Don’t know if we should laugh or cry at this reaction

And most people were just correcting Shebaz Sharif’s grammar
