Nargis Fakhri hasn’t been in Bollywood limelight for quite some time, but she’s been keeping busy with modeling gigs and toplining as the fae of various brands. The model-turned-actress is always sparking interest with her varied Instagram posts and recently opened up about how she had gained weight in the last two years.
Nargis took to Instagram to discuss her weight gain and talked about how being in the public eye had its negatives – she had gained 49 lbs in the last two years.
The actress didn’t let this deter her; she expressed her determination to “nurture your mind, body, and soul with positive thoughts and healthy choices.”
The actress had begun her weight loss journey and said through her “positive changes,” she had lost 20 lbs so far.

Living life in the public eye can be very difficult sometimes. As much as it is a blessing, it also comes with its downside. Over the last 2 years, I’ve gained weight. On the left, I weighed 178 lbs and on the right, I was 129. I have since lost 20 lbs through making lifestyle changes. If I can do it, so can you. Nurture your mind, body, and soul with positive thoughts and healthy choices. I’m going to bring you on this journey of becoming the best version of myself again, and I want you to join me on this journey too.
