The Muslim Ummah Is Absolutely Fuming After Sergio Ramos Injured Mo Salah In The Champions League Final

By Aam Nawab | 27 May, 2018

For many Muslims around the world, this year’s Champions League final was going to be a bit extra special courtesy Mo Salah.

The Liverpool star and Egypt international, who had a breakout season and went on to win the PFA Player of the Year award, was riding into the final with not only the hopes of Liverpool fans but also many football-loving Muslims from around the world, including here in Pakistan. But facing Real Madrid, a team Mo Salah has been linked with for a possible transfer, was never going to be an easy feat especially in the Champions League final.

Especially when Sergio Ramos had a point to prove.

Which he did.

Here’s a video of it happening too if you want

When you have a player who’s riding high on so much popularity brought down by a player who, well is known for this sorta behavior, you can expect people to kinda, sorta, lose their shit. Just a lil. You know the drill, here’s how people responded:

This guy has zero chill

Even non-football fans got fired up

The Egyptians made sure their anger was made loud & clear

And the entire Ummah too

Oh dear…

Was it all part of the plan???

Seriously tho, what a lil bitch

I’m def rooting for Liverpool now (it’s not like Arsenal is every making it to the CL final any time soon)

Let’s hope Salah’s injury isn’t severe to the point that he has to miss the World Cup. With the year he’s had and career trajectory he’s on, it would be really devastating, not just for him but the millions of fans he has around the world.

Also, fuck Piers Morgan
