It’s no secret that the teams behind Raees have been toying with our feeble hearts with the slow disclosure of content. Whole trailers go without us catching a glimpse of Mahira Khan and needless to say, hum kaafi taras jaate hain.
One thing everyone kept saying without really knowing much about, from when the trailer first came out, was the famous, “battery saala” dialogue.
From casual flirtation to attempts at oozing oomph, everyone was saying it.
Red Chillies Entertainment has dropped in a new trailer which explains a lot more than the previous one did.
And YES! We got to watch Mahira looking va va voom, all over again.
So according to what we’ve gathered from the trailer is that Raees Alam AKA Shahrukh “King” Khan, is not-so-affectionately known as Battery. For what reason, we still don’t know but Shahrukh isn’t particularly happy about it.
Just look at Atul Kulkarni trying to pull one off on Raees.
And then these people just being khatroun ke khiladi with their jaanleva harkatein.
I mean you’ve got to have messed up big time to get those looks.
If you call Raees battery, this is what happens:
Here’s an image after which aap Shahrukh Khan ko baap ki nazar se phir kabhi nahi dekh sakte.
Because OMG he’s cute.
And even after him explicitly telling people not to call him Battery, will our hotness ka pahaar listen?
Of course not!
Clearly, Mahira is the only one who can get away with calling him Battery.
Well played, Khan, well played. And haye that wink.
We’re loving the chemistry between these two, and we genuinely can’t wait for more! Please, MNS ji, please ban na kariye ga? *cue lower lip quivers*
