Husbands and wives in Pakistan have been mostly playing traditional roles in a marriage. The wives stay at home and look after the house and the kinds. Husbands, on the other hand, are the breadwinners of the family.

We took to Snapchat to ask Pakistanis whether or not they would be willing to switch these roles

The responses from both sides were diverse. However most of the responses, as you can see, were very positive. This highlights the change in dynamics between husbands and wives in Pakistan

People understand that strict definition of roles does not always work out for everyone. Partners need to decide what works for them and follow the framework. No one should be forced to follow a particular pattern that they do not believe in or is not workable for them.
