Here’s What Hadiqa Kiani Has To Say About The “News” Of Her Arrest For Drug Smuggling In London

Here’s What Hadiqa Kiani Has To Say About The “News” Of Her Arrest For Drug Smuggling In London

A little earlier today, a website named Metro-UK reported Hadiqa Kiani’s arrest at the London Heathrow airport. It was mentioned in the report that Hadiqa was found to be in possession of 2 kilograms of cocaine, hidden inside her two suitcases.

According to the said publication, upon suspicion, Hadiqa was taken to a private search room where the officers found a bag of cocaine.

Following Metro’s “news”, Pakistani newspaper Daily Times went ahead with the report and published it. The story, however, has now been removed from their website.

Pakistani twitterati were flabbergasted, to say the least.

But people were generally skeptical of the authenticity of the said news

At this point, Hadiqa Kiani released official statements via her social media and shut down every news outlet that has been reporting fake news of her arrest.

She, later on, posted a picture with her family members as well that was taken earlier today, in Lahore.

She further wrote on her Facebook page, “I am not in London nor do I have plans to go to London. And I dare any of you to associate drugs with my name…I am so disgusted right now! Just disgusted by this FAKE NEWS of me spreading online by so called established news medias. Just shocked. #DoYourHomework!”

Hadiqa is currently in the process of going on record to confirm that she wasn’t involved in any drug smuggling arrests.

Crazy, huh?
