Faryal Makhdoom Just Gave Her First TV Interview About Her Family Drama And Here's What She Said

By Sarmad Amer | 16 Dec, 2016

Since apologizing for releasing her brother-in-law’s nude photographs, Faryal Makhdoom has been busy in the US and Canada, with her husband, boxer Amir Khan. The couple has been there for the tour for their charity, the AK Foundation.

We expected that the highly publicized family drama would’ve died down by now.

It all started when Faryal alleged problems that she faced on part of her in-laws and the in-laws denied it.

Faryal’s parents in-law had earlier given a TV interview to Geo TV in Pakistan

Amir’s mother said, “”I said to her once, ‘Faryal bacha, don’t wear such clothes, be sure to wear a dupatta.’ But she didn’t listen and I never brought it up again,”.

While Amir’s father stated, “”I have two daughters and have treated Faryal the same as them,” in his interview to the Pakistani TV channel.

And then came the now-infamous nudes that Faryal released

And then apologized for, soon after, realizing her mistake

In her apology Snapchat Faryal said, “I wanted to apologize for the  picture I uploaded earlier, I was a bit angry and I felt like I needed to justify myself.”

And now she just went on and gave her first TV interview regarding the whole family drama the Khan family has been enveloped in for weeks, now

She appeared on the TV show “This Morning” on British television channel ITV and talked to presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby about her family saga.

Upon being asked if she is willing to get along with the family, despite whatever has happened now, Faryal told, “I would really like for all of us to get along. It wasn’t our choice for them to move out. They wanted to move out and Amir supported them in that. It would be nice for them to eventually get on with us. I always tried and I will always keep trying. But I don’t know how possible that is, especially being in a marriage for three years and not having great communication.”
