It is rather unfortunate that Lahore is not home to a wide variety of haleem places. However, the ones that it does have, make sure you get the best out of their trademark thick, creamy, meatiness garnished with fried onions, ginger, juicy lemons, coriander and what not.

Here are some of the places you can find the best Haleem at, in Lahore.

1. Hajji Sultan Ahmed Haleem, Bhatti Gate

2. Kozi Haleem near Punjab Secretariat 

Kozi Haleem is, hands down, one of the most renowned and delectable haleem shops in Lahore that have been serving their trademark haleem for so many years. It’s super economical, too. One plate usually costs around Rs. 60 and is enough to feed two people.

3. Dogar Restaurant, DHA 

Doagr serves and delivers all kinds of desi food, that too real quick. So if you are craving for some mouth watering haleem and are too lazy to go out, you know who to call.

4. Shafiq Haleem House, Walton Road, Madina Colony, Lahore

Super economical, delicious haleem, located not so deeper into the old Lahore hence, conveniently accessible. What else do you need?

5.  Delhi Nihari near Khayaban-e-Jinnah 

Their haleem is famous for being low on spices and is served with just the right amount of sweet fried onions. A must visit. 

6. Hospitality Inn, Egerton Road

The place is fancy, agreed, but their haleem is super scrumptious for all the right reasons. Give this place a visit if you are hosting a rather formal yet desi event for friends and family.

7. Bombay Gardens Tariq Road 

Bombay gardens, again, is a little fancy but their haleem is totally worth it.

8. Aashiq Chanay and Haleem, Sadar Bazaar

9. Nadeem BBQ Restaurant, Gurumangat Rd

It has pretty decent haleem though the restaurant is not known for it.

10. Shezan Regale, H Block DHA

Even though Shezan Regale isn’t a typical desi dhabba, their haleem is actually less pricey than mots of the other haleem places in this list. An all-rounder!

11. Nawab Haleem, Model Town
