The current speaker of our National Assembly, Ayaz Sadiq is quite an interesting person.

He has quite a way with words and he’s not afraid to make statements if he’s poked enough.

Yesterday, he was in a press conference which turned out to be a spiritual lesson for the masses.

On being asked by one of the journalists about the energy crisis and why the resolution is being delayed despite promises by his party leaders, here’s what Mr. Speaker apparently had to say:

“Load shedding and water crisis is due to God’s will”

In response, the journalists had this to say:

“Load shedding is God’s will. Don’t blame Peoples Party.”

Ever since those words were uttered, people have been going “SubhanAllah”

One journalist tried being a little too smart with our dear ol’ Mr. Speaker

“Don’t put the responsibility for load shedding on God, that’s your job.”

And Mr. Speaker was quick to respond

“This question that you’ve asked me, that was also God’s will.”

And once again, everyone went “SubhanAllah”

SubhanAllah, indeed.

People on Twitter couldn’t help but sing praise for the brilliant interaction

*This is too funny to handle. I’m outta here :’D*
