Having such strong consciousness can be wonderful at most times. It’s a profound sense that submerges both heart and mind. A strong intuition deciphers all the entanglement of each and every moment you experience in considerable depth and makes you all the more sensitive to your surroundings.

It’s an innate form of unconsciousness. Often we confuse intuition with the gut feeling that tends to pop up now and then, but the two aren’t entirely the same. Intuition is a constant while all other feelings are fleeting.

Intuition is knowing without actually knowing. It’s feeling everything far deeper than someone who lacks it. It’s inhaling all those that you love, piling their burdens on your own back and ploughing through with them because it’s your entire body’s internal workings telling you to do so. It’s knowing something is right, even if you can’t really prove it there and then.

At most times it is a blessing to feel everything so deeply, to decipher human behavior so naturally and to always count on intuition to guide you home. Yet when the bad days roll in, it’ll feel like there are gaping holes tearing your heart apart. And it’s all because of having such strong intuition. 

1. Indecisiveness is a daily struggle for you.

Being indecisive sounds odd when you have such strong intuition, but it’s true. When a situation is awfully transparent, where you’ve already figured out black from white, arriving at a decision is terribly difficult.

2. You’re hypersensitive and no one else understands that.

Harboring both empathy and emotion on a higher level than most is tough and harnessing it into a manageable amount never works. It’s this very form of hypersensitivity that can often almost always be taken for granted.

3. Asking someone if ‘everything is alright’ is inborn.

You never mean to annoy anyone by incessantly asking if everything’s good, but you can’t help it. Even the most subtle change of expression when you’re talking to someone about a serious matter is something you notice. And you can’t let it go.

4. You want to fix everything, but you can’t.

Holding everyone’s hand and letting their problems become your own gives you joy. But when things start going downhill, it’s you who wants to fix everything even if you aren’t in the wrong.

5. Feelings are far more intense for you.

You feel everything more intensely, and while I still stand by my belief that this is a strength, some days it can feel like a heavy weakness. Overthinking and blaming yourself for something over the smallest of things is an unfortunate habit. 

6. You notice fake emotions from real ones far more easily than others can.

It’s really frustrating, when you’re looking someone directly in the eye and they’re completely making something up. Feigning feelings is something you then have to reciprocate to keep playing into the facade that you’re not picking up on their act.    

7. Sometimes it’s hard to realize if you’re overthinking something or not, simply because you’re so prone to doing it.

Your intuition takes over your thought process and even the smallest of things that wouldn’t bother others WILL bother you.

8. You’ll often been labelled as far too emotional of a person.

In a world that has become severely emotionally inept, feeling things and wearing your heart on your sleeve is looked down upon. You see, the world from the eyes of someone who has heavy intuition is like a complex matrix, or like a labyrinth; everything becomes a snarling cobweb you need to tear down. 

9. You notice more than you’d often feel inclined to do so.

There’ll be times where you pick up on someone acting off but can’t say anything. 

10. Playing stupid is one of your daily struggles when someone isn’t being genuine with you.

You notice EVERYTHING. I cannot emphasis this enough – it’s ridiculous just how much intuition opens your eyes. It’s a tiring internal battle of deciding when to walk away and when to stick around because you invest so much of your love and time with people who aren’t being genuine.

11. You blame yourself for situations you cannot control.

You won’t help but feel entirely responsible for anyone who walks away, or any miscommunication that happens with someone close to you. It’s an awful battle of wondering what you did wrong.

12. You’ll never tell anyone your own problems.

You’ll hardly ever let anyone in, and you’ll never impose your worries on another because it just feels like a burden. You keep your burdens piling up on your own back – never on anyone else’s.

13. You’ll never really let your guard down.

You’re always building walls around yourself because trust mostly feels like a rare phenomenon. Breaking those walls is incredibly hard, and it’s only when they’re completely destroyed that people will inhale the real you.
